Candie Bolton is a self taught artist form Sacramento, California. She is an illustrator, painter, and a toy designer

and customizer. Her unique style brings together classical Japanese culture and contemporary surrealist art, using

media varying from paint on canvas and wood to resin casting and sofubi. She recently received two 2016 Designer

Toy Awards in the categories for Best Breakthrough Artist and Best Sofubi.
